As her oldest sister, Kadie has enriched Maggie's life in creative ways since she was young, from posing as a leprechaun penpal in their childhood, to teaching her how to put on makeup, and now, helping as her right-hand woman at her wedding. Kadie has been a strong role model throughout Maggie's life, ultimately helping her become who she is today.

Claire is not only Maggie's older sister, but was also her roommate three times over in their adulthood. Since they were kids, Claire has played a protective role, teaching Maggie how to stand up and do what's best for herself. Maggie was lucky to spend her last 8 months in NYC living in the same building as Claire and her family, which made leaving the east coast so much harder.

From co-worker, to roommate, then “running frenemy”, Shawn has played a lot of roles in Maggie’s life since they met in college, but ultimately has been one of her best friends throughout. Maggie might jokingly say that Shawn has been both a good and bad influence, but undoubtedly, she has played a huge part in setting Maggie down life paths that have led her to where she is today.

Maggie met Matt at the beginning of Senior year of high school and was immediately bummed they hadn’t met earlier. Despite lost time, Matt quickly became the brother that Maggie never had. Throughout the last 15 years, their friendship has grown through many games of Mario Kart, sharing dating stories and advice, and lots of late-night shenanigans with old friends and new.

Irvin is another friend that Maggie met way too late in high school for her liking. Their friendship took off, nonetheless, when Irvin put Maggie into his rotation of Facebook video messages to long-distance friends in their freshman year of college. Since then, Irvin has become a key person in Maggie’s support system as they've navigated adulthood together by staying close even between long distances.

Both Maggie and David met Alma just a few days after she was born to Maggie’s sister, Claire, and brother-in-law, John. As both of their first niece, Maggie and David are excited to celebrate their union with this sweet and silly girl, who may or may not have said “no” when she was first asked to be their flower girl.

The only one of the groomsmen that has known David since birth, Rick is David's cousin and his unofficial brother. Rick has been there for David from the beginning, supporting and mentoring him through the ups and downs of his life. From childhood sleepovers to post-college shenanigans to present day, Rick continues to be a role model that David is grateful to call family.

While they met at a young age and were friends throughout high school, Marc and David became closer in college and even more tight knit as they ventured into adulthood. The two spent many years traveling California and the country together with their soccer team, had many late nights playing Borderlands and Gears of War, and are known for grabbing drinks and inventing silly things to place bets on.

David and Shaan met in 2010 while working at The Search Agency. Once David moved to Santa Monica the two became good friends, spending many nights exploring the Westside's plethora of bars and restaurants. One place in particular--the infamous Busby's--became their home away from home and the place they along with Rick and others would spend a majority of their time (and paychecks).

Their friendship started in junior high, where they spent countless hours battling it out in Super Smash Brothers, watching WWF events, and playing basketball for hours on end. They remained close friends throughout high school and even lived together briefly in college, where Andrew met his now wife. No matter how much time passes in between visits, they pick up right where they left off (and sometimes revert to their junior high selves).

Francis and David have been friends since elementary school and were borderline inseparable all the way through high school and college. From playing home run derby in the street to battling it out in Madden to instigating drama in their fantasy football league, they have helped each other grow and become the men they are today. No matter how much time passes in between visits, there is no doubt that either would drop anything at a moment's notice to support the other.

A close friend of Maggie and David, the three met while working in New York and quickly became an important part of each other's lives during the early days of the pandemic. Despite living in different states, the trio continue to stay in close contact and even travel to vacation together every year. Maggie and David are incredibly grateful for Kate and are thrilled that she agreed to be their officiant.
